Having moved to Sonoma County five years ago, I have fallen in love with the vistas, colors and moods of this great area, but I am not a landscape painter.  As an artist, I have been nudging myself to more and more abstraction.  I explore all the different parts of the county - the orchards, the barns, the meadows, the beaches, the food, the animals - and I try to express what it inspires through paint.  I am just beginning this exploration, and it feels like there is much to discover down this road, so to speak.
